Der Film Pausinmaschine wurde am 16. Mai 2001 von 8.00 Uhr morgens bis 20.00 Uhr abends gedreht. In dieser Zeit bewegte sich die Pausinmaschine - bestehend aus Rädern, Stativ, Drehspiegel und Tafel - 35 m auf dem Grundstück Dorfstraße 4 in Pausin. Die Rückseite des Spiegels war mit Tafellack gestrichen, auf dem sich wechselnde Kreidezeichnungen befanden. Auf der Oberfläche des Spiegels wurde ein nicht permanenter Marker verwendet. Mein Interesse galt der Wechselwirkung zwischen der uns umgebenden Welt und der Welt der Zeichnung.
The film Pausinmaschine was produced on the 16th of May 2001 from 8 o’clock in the morning to 8 o’clock in the evening. During that time the Pausinmaschine - consisting of wheels, tripod, rotating mirror and blackboard – moved 35m on the property of Dorfstrasse 4 in Pausin. The back of the mirror is painted with blackboard enamel, on which are changing chalk drawings. A non-permanent marker is used on the surface of the mirror. I was interested in the interaction between the world surrounding us and the world of drawing.
